Oh, kid.

I call Cho “kid” a lot. As in, “Good job, kid” or “You’re such a good kid.”

She had a lot of great faces last night.

As soon as the halter comes off and it’s time to put the bridle on, I stand back and wait for her to finish this weird routine. It involves shaking her head and a lot of yawning.

Other than a mild bit of colic on Monday, things have been great. Monday was the first really warm day and she is still pretty fuzzy – we will probably have to remedy that soon with how warm spring is here. Gave banamine and she perked up to her normal self.

Rides have been easy. Things are clicking in her brain and mine.

First big clinic is in 2 weeks and I’m a little nervous. German riding master, lots of people auditing.

The rest of my time has been spent caring for my sick cat and trying to figure out what’s going on with her. Right now the vets are thinking Inflammatory Bowel Disease or Lymphoma. We have an ultrasound scheduled on Wednesday, and hopefully that will tell us what we’re dealing with. It’s frustrating, because she is largely acting normal…except for the fact that she vomits every day.
